The Welcome tab provides a summary of Time and Expense Management. There are tabs defined for different audiences. This page is a useful tool for training new users and as a reminder for infrequent users.

There are also useful links, including and animation of the Expense business process.  Select any icon on these pages to open the definition window.

To view the T&E Policies click the link. A chart displays the financial organization rules for submission of T&E reports.  Also, all expense categories display with any limits, approval and data entry rules in a concise format.  Hovering over any field will display help for that field.

User Tab

Select the User tab to display information on the following.

The Chart displays the different phases of Time and Expense Reporting.

Manager Tab

Select the Manager tab to display information on the following.

The flow charge displays the different status of a Time and Expense Report.

Accountant Tab

Select the Accountant tab to display information on the following.

If many of these records are not defined, links will be displayed to allow for auto creation of these records. 

  • Financial Organization - create either a demo or default organization.
  • Taxes - create an example of Sales, VAT or GST/PST/HST tax setup
  • Document Types - create 4 standard document types, AR Invoice, AR Credit Memo, AP Invoice and AP Credit Memo
  • Resources - create a resource record for each user.

Setup Tab

Select the Setup tab to display information on technical steps included in the application setup.  What setup is required will depend upon the options you use.
